Almazaan Stud was established as a business in 2009 for the purpose of breeding Arabian and Derivative Horses that would be able to perform in any discipline from dressage to endurance.
Located on 105 acres in the picturesque Adelaide Hills, our horses are raised on undulating hills of improved pastures dotted with river gums and natural creek lines.
Careful selection of foundation mares with excellent performance conformation, solid temperament and proven bloodlines were the starting point for the stud plans. The next step was finding a stallion with the same strict criteria. With these two essential tasks achieved by the end of 2010 the journey began.
Almazaan Stud Facilities include 14  paddocks, rotated reguarly to maintain pasture health. A full size 20m x 60m fenced arena, 20 m round yard, vet bay, wash bay ,indoor stabling for 10 horses, 6 horse walking machine, 6 foaling paddocks and 5 large day yards with shelters. Our horses are trained at home and in the beautiful surrounding pine forests of Mount Crawford.
We are keen and active members of the South Australian Endurance Riders Association Inc. and you will find our horses out on track at most South Australian Events. In the last couple of years our horses have been found competing in the local Arabian Show Circuit both in Halter and Ridden classes.

I need to acknowedge my husband Andrew for his support and belief in my dream and our four now adult children for their understanding and willingness to accept these beautiful creatures as part of our day to day lives.

Thank you for visiting  and I hope you enjoy sharing our website and the horses of Almazaan.
